CME Conducted
A CME in Minimally Invasive Surgery – in association with the Department of General Surgery, Yenepoya Medical College, Mangalore on Wednesday, 12th June at IMA Hall, Mangalore. The CME was attended by one hundred and seventy five Surgeons. Head of the department of Surgery from other Medical Colleges of Mangalore and Senior faculties also attended the programme. The CME covered topics like Endoscopic Thyroidectomy (Dr Padmakumar), Laparoscopic Hernia surgery (Dr Madhukar Pai), Bariatric surgery (Dr Padmakumar) and Robotic Cancer surgery (Dr Jalaluddin Akbar). We also had a presentation on various Laparoscopic training programs by Verwandeln Institute (Premna Subin). The programme was Chaired by Vice Chancellor – Dr M Vijaykumar, Principal – Dr. M.S. Moosabba, HOD of Surgery – Dr Ameer Ali and HOD of Urology – Dr. Mujeeburahiman M.
